history
A former principal in Prince George’s County, A former pastor and the founder of the Capital City National Day of Prayer (established in 1985), Dr. Corinthia Ridgley Boone created a legacy of engagement for the Now generation in pursuit of God through inner court worship and dynamic prayer. Her passion to engage multi-ethnic youth in developing a greater love for the Kingdom means she delights in the message of 3 John 4, “I have no greater joy than to hear my children walk in truth.”
The Corinthia Ridgley Boone Foundation uplifting NOW generations. Scholarships in honor of her Local, National and International Service. With a focus on the NOW generation, the fund provides financial assistance to students that are passionate about furthering God’s agenda.
This scholarship aims to change how you plan to affect communities and/or nations through service or missions.
Qualifications for the Scholarship
- High School Senior with a GPA of 2.5+
- Submit two letters of recommendation from a ministry, School, or CBO.
- Submit a 500-1,000 word Essay on how you plan to affect communities or nations either through missions, prayers, initiatives, discipleship or other kingdom services.
